Mark your calendar for the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Council Meeting with State Representative Sergio Munoz, Jr. on Tuesday, August 28 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.

Muñoz works as an attorney and is the sole principal of the Muñoz Law Firm, serving the South Texas region, and his specific practice areas are civil and criminal law. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Business Administration, graduated magna cum laude from Texas Southern University and earned his law degree at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Muñoz has represented the people of District 36, which includes the cities of McAllen, Pharr, Mission and Palmview, since 2011 and continues to work to pass legislation to help the development of small businesses in the Valley. He also continues to pursue affordable and accessible health care options for individuals, families and the elderly.
