The McAllen Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitors’ Bureau is pleased to announce that the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement will be hosting their October 2024 Annual Conference in McAllen.  The mission of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, as a regulatory State agency, is to establish and enforce standards to ensure that the people of Texas are served by highly trained and ethical law enforcement, corrections, and telecommunications personnel.

“We are excited that the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement has chosen McAllen for their Annual Conference. We look forward to hosting the organization and are eager to continue to welcome them back for future meetings and conferences,” said Maritza Munoz, Director of Tourism for Visit McAllen. The October conference, that will take place at the McAllen Convention Center, is expected to draw over 1,200 attendees generating an economic impact of over $1,312,500.00.
