The McAllen Chamber of Commerce presents the Spring 2016 Lunch and Learn Business Seminars Series
McAllen – The McAllen Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the three presentations during its “Spring 2016 Lunch & Learn Business Seminar Series.”
The first seminar entitled “: How to Organize your Records” is scheduled for February 16 and will be presented by Art Lopez, CPA and Crystal Solis, CPA at Burton McCumber & Cortez LLP. Learn current best practices regarding what tax and financial records should be kept by individuals and businesses and if and when it’s safe to destroy information.
The second seminar entitled “Developing a Mindset to win as an Entrepreneur” is scheduled for March and will be presented by Chis’mere Mallard, “The Golden Voice of Motivation”. Chis’mere owns and manages CLS Devices, LLC, representing several multi-million dollar companies, as well as his own life-coaching and inspirational speaking company, Chis’mere Mallard, LLC. An entrepreneur doesn’t need an MBA to be successful but there is a certain mindset an entrepreneur must cultivate to grow, understand and lead their business. Business leaders who attain this mindset are the ones who ultimately succeed.
The last seminar of the series entitled “Exceeding Expectations” is scheduled for April 20 and will be presented by Bridgett McAdams, from The John Maxwell Team – Dream Big Facility. The presenter will focus on applicable ways to help you stand out in your company or to make your company stand out in the community and keys to raising your leadership skills and to identify leaders.
The seminars will be held at the Chamber, located at 1200 Ash Ave in McAllen. Each Lunch & Learn Session will run from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, and lunch will be provided for registered attendees. The session carries a $10.00 fee for McAllen Chamber members and $15.00 fee per for non-members per attendee.
