“How do we hire the employee of the future?”

For our first Speaker Series of 2023, Thelma Tamez presented on the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion and the impact it has on the workplace.

Tamez presented to a group of 20 individuals where she explained diversity in the workplace including visible and invisible diversity, the difference between equality and equity, and much more.

The Speaker Series brings McAllen Chamber membership with information on how to build a better business. Topics include operations, sales, team management, finances and other business-related subjects. The Speaker Series takes place monthly with the exception of July and December.
