The McAllen Chamber of Commerce has a strong partnership with the McAllen Economic Development Corporation that focuses on high tech jobs, research and development, as well as entrepreneurship-led economic development.
The McAllen EDC is a not-for-profit organization that works to attract new investment and employment opportunities for the region. For the last 35 years, they have assisted more than 710 companies from 25 countries to establish successful manufacturing operations in McAllen and Reynosa, Mexico.
