It was a full house at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce!
The Government Affairs Council hosted the latest McAllen Citizens League meeting where team members of Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez office provided an overview of their initiatives. Topics discussed included courthouse move in update, Hidalgo County Detention Center, drainage bond program, the risks of illegal dumping, animal control, sanitation bill, mental health coalition, the Prosperity Task Force and much more.
The McAllen Citizens League provides educational, informative presentations and events covering current affairs. This includes discussions on civic matters, history and other current topics. The organization is non-sectarian, non-partisan and does not endorse political candidates. McAllen Chamber of Commerce partners with McAllen Citizens League to host monthly meetings.
