Congratulations to Marie Perez on receiving the Chamber Ambassador of the Month award!

Marie is an energetic volunteer who not only enlists new members but serves as a goodwill representative of the McAllen Chamber. She has been a part of the Ambassador program for the past 40 years and through attendance of Chamber related events, she has created business contacts and expanded her network.  

On a monthly basis, the Ambassador who brings three or more new members receives the award.

“When you bring in a new member, you don’t just bring them and leave them. You bring them and invite them to Chamber events. You show them how important it is to connect,” Marie said. “They’re going to really appreciate their membership and get something out of it.”

When asked what she would tell individuals interested in joining the McAllen Chamber, she answered: “just get involved!”
