The McAllen Chamber of Commerce is unveiling a new logo as part of a complete overhaul of its brand identity.
This is the first update of the organization’s branding in over three decades.
Chamber membership, stakeholders and supporters alike are invited to the Brand Reveal celebration next Tuesday, April 18 from 10-11 a.m. at the McAllen Chamber, located on 1200 Ash Ave. The event is open to the public.
The story behind the vision and future of the McAllen Chamber, including how the logo came to fruition by its in-house and newly developed Strategic Communications department will be shared.
“No one can tell your story quite like you can,” Strategic Communications Vice President Christine Cavazos said. “We [communications department] delved into the history of the Chamber going back almost a century through the resources provided by the McAllen Heritage Center, McAllen Public Library and dusted off archives within the Chamber.”
The Chamber began its visual changes in January with the launch of a revamped website along with a story-telling based content presence on all social media platforms.
“Through the talented work of our brand-new Strategic Communications team, we were able to deliver a new brand that respects our history but also renews our commitment to be a better organization for the future,” President & CEO Josh Mejia said. “The McAllen Chamber of Commerce’s new brand will serve as a beacon of light in our journey to continue working on improving our impact and enhancing the customer experience we expect to deliver every single day.”
