By McAllen Chamber of Commerce
She Blooms brought community members together and left attendees inspired, empowered and ready to support women led micro businesses Thursday afternoon at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.
With close to 60 guests in attendance, the intimate event proved to be a resounding success, creating a vibrant atmosphere of connection and empowerment.
Celebration of Women-led Micro Businesses
During the event, entrepreneurs set up tables to showcase their products, talk about the source of inspiration for their business and sell to attendees. Participating vendors included The Cactus Kitty, handmade concrete décor and art inspired goodies; Tres House of Healing, a natural crystal shop dedicated to helping people achieve healing and transformation; Rio Grande Soap providing handcrafted soaps, balms, salves, skin care and more. Other vendors also included By Maxwell a lifestyle luxury boutique and permanent jewelry and DS Collective offering handmade eco-friendly luxury candles and accessories. MBS Holistic Healing provided free messages.
Inspiring Talks and Networking Opportunities
One of the highlight of She Blooms was an inspiration talk with entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker Margret De Bruyn titled, “Embrace Your Inner Strength: Unleashing the Power Within to Claim Your Path.” De Bruyn captivated the audience with her insights, motivating them to believe in themselves and pursue their passions fearlessly.
After the inspirational talk, guests had the opportunity to continue shopping and enjoyed wine, appetizers and desserts courtesy of Elbows Mac N Cheese Texas, Brocheta Mediterranean Bistro and Birdie Bistro Restaurant.
She Blooms was sponsored by Boggus Ford McAllen, AEP Texas and The Almaguer Law Firm.
