The McAllen Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Texas Association for Bilingual Education has selected McAllen as its host city for the 51st Annual State Conference.
The October 2023 conference is expected to draw over 1,200 visitors to the McAllen Convention Center that could generate an economic impact of over $1,050,000.
Each year, TABE unites educators, researchers, families and more advocating for equitable education for over 1.1M bilingual learners in Texas. This year, the conference will host keynotes by Dr. José Medina and Dr. Mike Mena, along with experts from the U.S. Department of Education including Montserrat Garibay, among many more.
